How do you make it so when you hold a button it spams while when you let go it stops

The title explains most of it, this is not being used in a game… although it could be… I’m really just peaked for this with curiosity.

well,I’m not sure if you could do this with a button (mit be wrong idk) but you could do this with a trigger

so what I’m thinking is when zone entered: repeater trigger loop clicks a button, possibly causing a counter to increment or smth and when zone left trigger loop ends

Wait that might have sparked an idea in my head when the game overlay pressed activate zone, then when the players enters zone activate repeater that broadcasts ___ then

WHAM idea ended because you have to press it again, not when you let go… hmmm keep thinking.

How would he be able to stop it?

Is this a button (device) or a button (using barriers) becuase I don’t get what you mean by ‘holding button’

with another trigger that then deactivates one of the triggers on the trigger loop

or get another button that is specifically for turning it off

or 2 buttons at bottom of your screen, that one spams stuff while the other will stop it

Rgat could work, the two buttons atthebottoom is a good idea.
But just to be sure you mean a oerlay that says Press button and when button pressed transmit on trigger loop and there’s another overlay that says let go that stops the loop?
