In my game, there is a sentry that needs to stay passive for a while, and then turn aggressive. The player needs to be able to walk past the sentry while it is passive, so I can’t use the barrier technique. After a while, the sentry needs to be able to turn passive again.
I have no idea how to do this, please help.
Your incorrect, the barrier technique I think would work

have a sentry overlap that sentry while the other turns off so it seems like it went from passive to aggressive?
OH wait you could have 2 sentries and the aggressive one turns off and shows a sentry that was layered under it that is passive

An alternative method would be to use a zone with gadge fire off, that preserves the sentry’s health if necessary.

nonowahoo we thought of that but it came to realize they made sentries not interactable with zones anymore
