How do I update a property on player knocked out?

So in my game when a player is knocked out they have to be sent to the start, but I also want to update a property when they’re knocked out. How do I do that? I tried using a KO manager, but I don’t understand its wording.

Connect a lifecycle set to player knocked out to a trigger or counter that updates the property

Or is this for a specific player?

Well it’s for any player that gets knocked out, not just the host or a random one.
