How do I make a tower defense game

I want to make a tower defense that you can play

Since sentries can’t move around by themselves, it would be really hard to make a tower defense game. You could use multiple that deactivate and activate after each other to make it look like it.

Even with that it would be very memory consuming, and there isn’t a way to carry sentry damage to another.

i think you could use team sentries
but i never tried so im not sure
