How do I make a cutscene type thingamajig with teleporters?

In my game, I have an elevator that can teleport you to the 1st floor and back to the basement. I want to have a 1-2 second interval in between floors where you can’t move, and the elevator doors are closed, so it feels like you are actually in an elevator! Buuuuuut I’m bad with devices. I’ve tried to find a tutorial on how to do this, but the thing’s I’ve tried don’t work/aren’t detailed enough for my 2 braincells, and my problem is VERY specific. I need it to work infinite times, be triggered by a button, and be simple enough for a Patrick Star minded individual such as myself. Thank you to anyone who can help me.

Would do be fine with having an identical eletor room for each level and putting teleporters between them? When the trigger is pressed, it can send someone through a teleporter.

So you want a set interval of time between floors? Just have a trigger and a trigger delay for the time.

and i want the timer to teleport you when it’s done.

so when the timer reaches zero, send channel to teleport…what else?
