I have a problem with an element I want to add (sorry I’ve been posting frequently). I want there to be a teleporter that’s not visible at the start, but there are no configurations for that built-in to the teleporter. Is there a way I can add this element so I can have it hidden at the start and then re-show it?
Maybe you can activate/deactivate on certain events? (I’m not able to log on to Gimkit at the moment, so I can’t test to see if it works…)
Hmm… I’ll go on to Gimkit later to try to make a teleporter hide/show (that is, unless someone else replies with the solution…)
Managed to log on, you’re right, it can’t deactivate…
As Jhan said, with a prop or barrier…
I’ve tried that but it doesn’t hide it (at least for me)…
You could use a barreir or prop to block it or hide it.
I don’t think you can deactivate teleporters.
I’m trying to hide it, not deactivate it. Also, a barrier kinda looks weird just hanging around on the map, and an invisible one doesn’t hide it at all.
Hiding it or blocking it is the only way,
Also im 100% sure you cant deactivate it because i tried that last time in one of my games and one way out also uses a barreir.
…my question is HOW do I hide it? There aren’t built in configurations for that.
As you can see. Also, if I make it invisible, it’ll still be able to teleport players, even if it’s unintentional.
Place a prop or barreir over it like one way out.
You can decorate the barreir or use the custom shape device.
There is no way to show or hide teleporters
But as jhan already told you, you can simply make a barrier/text art that looks similar to a teleporter.
I would think to use a barrier to essentially " hide it" and then put a button and connect it to the barrier and make the barriers big enough to cover and teleporter and then once a player touches the button it shows the teleporter
After LONG research hours, I have figured out that it is impossible to make a teleporter invisible, then have it be able to be re-showed (most props have some configurations for this under the availability tab and you can wire it to something to make it show). So, it’s impossible.
