In my game, I made a shop where you can buy things, but, since you can’t buy speed in a vending machine, I can’t grant speed, so you just lose money.
use a speed modifier and either use channels or wires to connect the vending machine to it
use dif speed modifiers for dif speeds

Wire the vending machine to a speed modifier such that:
Vending machine bought from → apply speed modifier.
You can set the speed modifier to how fast you want them to go!
This won’t stack if you have multiple of these setups. For that, you’ll need a slightly more complicated system.
