How Can i drop items while in editing mode

So in my game, you need to open a portal with 3 gems, i want the gems to be in the ground already, the gims will be small shards

Please elaborate and give us some more detail because this question doesn’t make much sense?

okay, so you are in a game, you need to find gems on the ground, the gems will be represented by small shards, so i want to put them in the map. see when you see a dropped item and you take it, how can i make it, so the shards be dropped already

You could use item images on the map and have them disappear when “picked up”
(whether you are using a zone or button ect.)

yeah used it, but so not effecient, i want more better and easier

will the shards be dropped by other people or are they already on the map?
if sentries dropped them that would be easier…
but i agree with @Sythic and it’s not that hard to make just use buttons

there used to be a guide about this but the pictures got deleted due to the GREAT PICTURE SWIPE so the guide is now USELESS!! so I cant help with guides sorry but it is possible

okay, let me pretend i used buttons, i need a counter, that gets incremented by that button, and the target number is 1, so when target number reached deactivate button, and hide the image, that will be way more costy

You could just use direct button usage instead of a loop
Button → Disappear Item Image
Button → Grant item

How is there a “best way”? Like in one way out? (the purple keycards)

see, we have sentries, but they are way more expensive, last time i used the unused device… repeaters, but you know. so this is the only way, also yeah i want like the purple keycards

… buddy that’s literally just an invisible button on a (purple keycard) item image that is linked to a item granter …
its that simple
