Help with platformer shooter (Traps, ideas, Ect)

Im going to keep this intro short and sweet. I’m making a platformer shooter, and I need some help with ideas.

Ideas needed

  • Trap ideas
  • Loot pool ideas
  • Prop ideas
  • enemy ideas

The gist of the game is that you’re in an abandoned wasteland, and there is a radio tower that is crucial for your men to capture, so you can spread your influence. There will be shops along the road, and at the start, you can pay to start higher, at the cost of coming across less ammo, as mainly the lower floors have the stuff to make ammo. (Ammo will be scarce, and crafting it is the main way to get it.) Also, you will be able to sell stuff, but you have to go to a shop in the tower, then pay to go back to the bottom, then you can pay to go back up to a higher starting point. Starting higher up is high-risk, high-reward, as you can set traps for others, but then you’ll have fewer gadgets and ammo for when people reach you.

What kind of gadgets and ammo have you already included?

I’m going to have all the ammo types except snowballs because it’s the desert. I will have the prickler, the twister, the stone buster, and the bigger stone buster on the lower floors. Higher up the tower, there will be a military presence, but they will drop the more refined gadgets like evil eyes and zappers. Slingshot will be included on the lower floors because it could easily be made as a crude gadget

A trap idea would be some bear traps or maybe a broken radio shōøting static electricity everywhere. Prop recommendation would be to make a radio (use this emoji: :radio:) If you have the season ticket then use dry grass and dry plants and d!rty boxes. Enemies could be sentries with the default sentry skin or Crimson Cruz or Cell Snap Gold.
(This sounds like a fun map! Will it be single player or not?)
(Is this off topic? If so, I’m sorry)

You could have a super hard space themed enemy that drops a Quantum Portal.

It will mainly be multiplayer, but it will be able to be started as a solo, since the presence of enemies will allow for single player play, and there will be some secret lore in the tower so

More enemy ideas! Add a sentry, scale it up to 2x size, equip an epic evil eye, and make it a Crimson Cruz skin. He will be the general trying to prevent you from making it to the top. He summons flames to burn you and electricity to shock you. He also has the key to unlock the stairs to the top of the tower. Also to add lore, have random notes and open paper scroll props hanging on the walls. Inside d!rty boxes have some ammo to help players.

If you have the season ticket you can create have a Character that represents you that is hidden somewhere hard to reach in the map that players can talk to. I like doing this in my maps.

Sadly, I don’t have the season ticket :smiling_face_with_tear:
But I don’t create as much as I used to, so it would do me much good (This is a big side project I do when I have nothing to do and I’m bored)

The character can be guarding a secret section of the tower. You need to craft a gold key to get past him. And add some rusty sections of the tower that will randomly collapse when a player steps on them. Or maybe add a troll troll represented by orehound in a secret room. You have to work super hard to get into the room, hoping there’s a reward. But the troll troll was waiting there to obliterate you. If you defeat him, although it’s going to be nearly impossible, he drops (wait for it…) absolutely nothing. You just wasted all of your time and effort!

You could do a plant-themed boss in an oasis, with multiple sentries linked to one big guy. When you defeat the big guy, the sentries/plants follow suit with it like a hive mind.
