Help with making a mechanism for my game the abyss

by now you know the drill. I have posted so many help topic on this game [ I just posted it]

I’m trying to make it so that when a player enters a zone with their flashlight on they get damaged every 5 seconds. its not working. the flashlight is just a game overlay that says flashlight: on or flashlight:off. channels for the flashlight are flashlight on { this channel should activate the zone and make it so the player takes damage if they enter the zone, and stop taking damage if they leave the zone or turn their flashlight off { transmits on flashlight off, which deactivates the zone and causes the player to stop taking damage]

sorry I wrote this in a rush, I’ll check for responses tonight

You’d probably just need to attach a damager (with a delay) up to the zone.

Hmm. What if, do this

When game overlay is clicked → Activate zone
When game overlay is clicked → Deactivate zone

For the zone
When zone is activated → Activate Damager
When zone is deactivated → Deactivate Damager
