Help with button pressing

I hate to make this topic because I searched and others made it, but the images that the solution featured didn’t load for me.

Getting to the point…

How do I make it so that a button cannot be pressed more than once? Thanks!

I would put a trigger (not visible in game) all around where the player stands while pressing the button. Wire the trigger(s) to the button: triggered → deactivate button

(I would place like a LOT of triggers in a circle around the button and wore all of them)

But what if it doesn’t trigger somehow? I tried that before, there’s still a way to get by that. (o..)

Hmm… Maybe place an invis barrier on the button when its pressed?

Or will it still be able to get pressed?

its okay. My pictures on some guides don’t work either.

Or just do what @bakedpotato said. More efficient.
(lolz)

I’ll see if that works. (Again I am sorry about making this cus I’m pretty sure it was already made but there’s something weird with my PC and it doesn’t load some old images)

You can make the button transmit on a channel when pressed, and the button deactivates on that same channel.

Ok, let me just explain my game concept.

I need the players to press the button showing that they completed a part of an obby and they claim a ruby. I don’t want them to press that button a bunch of times because it will give them a bunch of rubys.

Yep, transmitting on a channel that then shuts the button off would work. If you need multiple channels, just add a comma between them and it’ll transmit on them both.
