I think he means he wants the players to be able to do neo jumps into different floors.
Not exactly. I just want for the players to be able to see the decor inside the room. Like maps, scrolls, etc.
That’s exactly it. But I want it to be more open than that. I want the players to be able to walk through the tower. And it’s a little dark in there. Remove the barrier lighting.
Ohhh ok.
You know, you could also have an invisible teleporter that will teleport you “inside” so that way you can have a bigger space without putting the tower out of proportion.
Alr done lol
I think he wants a sidescroller with no outer rooms, with everything visible in one area. What I would suggest is increasing the transparency on the windows, and disabling collision on the walls so players can bypass them.
I don’t really care if it’s out of proportion. It’s Gimkit creative. Anything goes.
@ShadowDragon44, have you ever played universal smash? If you have, do you know what the Rebirth Tower is? I want something in that design.
Is this a medieval theme only, or are there more regions @CommanderGOAT
Yes. It’s amazing . Could you give me instructions? Also, @King_Thunder_Alt1 to answer your question, the map is all medieval themed, set in the kingdom of Emberwall. But I’ve divided the map into different places. Here are the places:
- Emberwall Outskirts
- Town Square
- Gimrick’s Castle with a forge, the king’s throne room, and a secret treasure room
- Castle Gardens
- Kensington Farm
- and Kensington Hill
Hope it helps
Ok, @CommanderGOAT ,this might be a bit out there, but in keeping with the theme of @ShadowDragon44 's pictures, you could use a crimson and dark brown color palette for the buildings, and copy various scales of his tree design to add a feudal/oriental Japan vibe to the map, which also enables you to use the Kynami skin.
So Kensington Hill and Farm could have large cherry blossom orchards that produce rare apples that significantly boost player health, the outskirts could be like a decrepit slum area, the castle could be tiered to show the variance in loot quality, and you could have an Eternal Flame in the throne room, with the King Gimrick NPC boss being able to summon fire gims, kynamis, and Siraths. Maybe an oofing device like a gallows in the town square?
I’ll add that. So like thy grow apples that function as Medpacks? Thanks for the idea! I was looking for a way to implement Medpacks into the game. As for the rest of your suggestions, I’m afraid I can’t add them. I’ve already made the outskirts and have an idea of what the castle should look like. Also, there’s no one living in Emberwall anymore. It was abandoned after some invaders attacked the kingdom. I’m going to add some of the invading troops guarding Kensington Hill.
Edit: I’m going to add something like the Eternal Flame and a note explaining what it is. That’s a cool idea
Edit 2: @King_Thunder_Alt1, did I offend you? If so, I’m sorry
Hey,@ShadowDragon44 can you design a marble fountain for me? I need one. This is what I have right now.
(Sorry it looks weird. I took the photo of my computer with my IPad)
You are fine, I go offline usually after about 3 PM on weekdays, that’s why I didn’t reply immediately. With the context of the castle having been invaded, I would suggest a dark stone and cracked planks mix for terrain, with a barrier drawbridge over a river of blue barriers and invisible lasers to represent drowning damage. The bridge can randomly fail during the match, causing players to fall. As for the invaders, you can say they were lead by a Shadeborn Necromancer known as Shady, who has an army of resurrected Ozis, as well as a few Siraths as his personal guard, and Kynamis as contracted assasins. You could maybe have crossbow and catapult turrets on the castle roof (sentries with barrier art over them), and players can sabotage turrets by activating the barriers to prevent the sentry from attacking.
I like that idea. Mind if you design them?
Design which part? 20words
Design the drawbridge, the catapults, the cracked plants.
do you need any more things to build,
