Help needed for decoration (can a TL4 close this?

Morning forumers. I need help with some decor for my medieval pvp map. It’s set in the abandoned kingdom of Emberwall. Right now, Emberwall just looks like a ghost town. It looks like in good condition, but I want it to look more like some ancient ruins. I basically want a change of theme. Here are some pictures to help.

(Ignore the roofless houses, there was an internet glitch)

there are some ruins houses if you have a season ticket

I know. But they just don’t fit with the theme. They look more like suburban homes than medieval ones. Also I forgot to mention that I have the season ticket so I’m not limited in props.

I guess I have to go look then

u could use the following props:

  • infested plates
  • coal
  • cow skulls
  • dry grass
  • dry plant
  • electric generator/post
  • other infested stuff

I don’t think the electric generator and electric posts would work. Neither would the boxes. Still good though.

Those are pretty good ideas. Although it’s a little off theme. It’s more of a medieval map than a horror map.

maybe a shop or enterable (is that a word) circus tent selling witchcraft or potions? and maybe a blacksmith shop type thing, idk.
sry if this is more Renaissance than medieval

for horror, bring moss, then color it red. and add a spooky grave, why not a black background

I don’t think he/she wants a horror map

then, i didnt understand, but the last ideas were medievel

Kinda late to the party I guess, but here’s a visual to help you out

That…is…actually insane… mind if you give me instructions? And could you make a spy tower for me?
Mind if I save that to my photos? It’s so good.

Thanks and sure!

Uhhhh I’ll try…
Okay so, everything is on the bottom layer except for the trees and the flagpole;

Tree:
Prop Type: Assortment of Groundbreaking Plants
Color: 153 0 82

Leaves:
Prop Type: Small Leaf Pile
Color: 204 0 160

For the terrain you can do whatever you want, I overlapped different layers to make it look beat up and kinda broken

Now the wall is going to be pretty tricky, you’ll probably want to make the stone background right away, but I would recommend building the archway first. The archway is just an assortment of Rock colored 77 77 77 This is what it would look like:

Basically just an upside-down U, once you get that shape you start building the stone wall around it. Use the Gray Stone Barrier (Wide) and the Gray Stone Barrier for this. Building the wall itself isn’t as hard as it looks, all you have to do is adjust the prop sizes to keep a nice clean line

Here I just used Bicycle Racks to fill in the gap

Uhm hope this helps

Thanks. I’ll try to make the archway sometime soon. Could you help me make some more structures? Maybe a spy tower?

I agree with @c0smo. You are an extremely talented GKC artist. Could you make the tower be made of wood instead? It would fit better with my houses.

Thanks :>
Yeah, how would you like me to do the columns then? Would you like me to keep them, or use something like wood logs instead?

@CommanderGOAT ?

Keep the columns. It’s better. Also divide the tower into open air levels.
