So I have been playing other gimkit games and I have seen some colored blocks which (I think are) not in the terrain section. Im probably being vague right now, but any clue how we can get there??

Barriers? You can find them in the device section of creative. Just go search up ‘barrier’. It’s really easy.
(Trust me I had the same problem once but I just asked my twin since they’re better at creative than me)
