Hello fellow gimkiters I need your help with coding D:

I need help coding a spawn pad where its randomized so players that spawn in are randomized to different locations (now I have a idea how to do it but I haven’t played gimkit in a while so I don’t know what to do D:)

I need help :frowning:

Hey @Spinjitzufordays99! It’s actually really easy! Just place down a couple spawn pads. This will split the players between all of the spawn pads placed down. I hope this helps! :D

Also to make a pop-up only show for the game host, just place down a life cycle and wire that to your pop-up. The lifecycle only triggers for the host :)

This is a lifecycle

Place one down out of the devices menu and click on it! This should take you to the options. The options control everything about it. Make sure the event is set to game start. Then get your pop-up. In the add menu, you should see wires. Get a wire and connect from the life cycle to the pop-up. The wire should read event occurs —> open popup

I hope this was A better explanation of it. If you want me to show you how to show something for the host in the middle of the game, then I’ll certainly show you how to do that :D

what I’m talking about is to show a pop-up ONLY for the game host how would I be able to do that

Yes what I explained above should show the popup only for the game host.

If you want to test it out, you can get on another tab and join the game within an alternate player. Once you start the game, you should see that the pop-up only activates for your main player

but if I’m reading this right its LifeCycle---->game start) wire-------------->popup( event occurs->open popup. I’m pretty sure all this does is send a popup on game start it doesn’t say who its gonna give it to

To put into perspective on what I’m doing I’m making a GIMNITE (FFA) game

where the spawn is a choose your own map that only the game host can do and the players get a normal ===========please wait game host is picking a map=======

A lifecycle always transmits to the game host unless you connect it to a relay (which diverts the signal to multiple or another person)
