I think so unless you did something to the settings where you don’t d*e when at that type of health.
It’s not my game and I had health at the start
This is just a common glitch with lasers, no need to worry about it for this has happened to almost everyone.

This happens when your spawn pad/teleporter is on a laser with a fatal damage, when the game start/teleport to an area, your HP will drop to zero but you are still alive for some reason.
