I’m working on a free for all map with an alternate play mode where you can decide to work cooperatively or play solo on a dungeon crawler type game. I want the players to find secrets during the free for all portion that lead them to the alternate game mode where they fight bosses. I am looking for ways to hide these secrets from the player, special rewards, and boss mechanics. Anyone who would like to collab can also let me know, and I will look over your qualifications! (that last part after the final comma is a joke but please do let me know if you would like to help edit)
WEll, of course you have to use camera views, and out side of them, there could be hidden passage ways.
There can also be npc’s that do not explicitly state “oh, i want a gimfish” but can hint that they need gimfish. Bring a the npc a gimfish, then you unlock a new secret
