Gimkit Map Confuzzlement

Is there any way to make a gadget do a headshot? I am making a map that is from Fortnite, (Don’t ask, bc its off topic) and need to make a gadget have a chance of doing extra damage. Is this possible?

I don’t think so, because we cannot really tell where a gim’s head is. But if you have like a prop stretched out on a topdown or platformer map and the player cannot jump or move down and up, then when the prop is knocked out and the player is hit you can run a statement in block code to see if it would’ve hit them in the head.

Do you want a system where it always does more damage when you hit a specific in spot, or just randomly?

Is there any way to make there be like a 10% chance for a headshot or something? And for the block part, can you show me how to make that?

Either or. Preferably the first one.

Oh yeah totally. I misunderstood what you were asking.
It’s called a critical hit @Taco.

There is totally a way to make a random system, and there’s most likely a guide on it somewhere around here…

Ok I’m going to try this, and if it works, I will mark solution. Thanks to both of you!

Okay, thankfully it was created recently so it should work. With the images thing.
Oh and obviously you can tweak the parameters in the guide to fit your request.

Do either of you know how to make the variables though? @Turtle @Karlz
(in the guide)

Huh? Which section? What…?
(you can ping @ here by the way)
Oh yeah. Go to the tab on the lefthand side of the block editor, click variables, click new variable, name it whatever it is in the guide, and then insert whatever form you need into the code @Taco.

I don’t know how to make variables

like this. Re-read the guide. IDK how to make the next variable.

IDK how to do the forms and stuff. I never use blocks in my maps.

  1. Click create variable
  2. Enter the name in
  3. Click create new variable or whatever it says
  4. The variable will now pop up in that variables tab
  5. Drag whatever variable “type”, as in “set variable to x” or “variable”, you need to use
  6. You should be all good. Sorry if my wording was confusing.
