how do I hide usernames in gimkit i’m trying to make a hide-and-seek map but don’t know how to hide the names, how?
If your props are at a high enough layer, they should be able to hide the player’s username. Just use props large enough to accommodate the player and their username on a high layer and you should have an effective hiding system.

But then the Seeker is hidden too. And what about props?

WELCOME TO WEI- I mean the gimkit forums
I don’t 100% agree with that. Some regulars don’t know in-depth concepts and/or mechanics.
What I can say is true, is that every regular can be trusted.
Perhaps a barrier set in one place, once the hider hides?
Weirdmageddon.
A zone or trigger detects a player, then the barrier is activated to hide the username.
If having the hider being hidden is an issue, you could use a mix of translucent props, some zones, and some regular props.
The regular props should only be visible through the hider through the “visibility scope” function and the props can be “unhidden” through a system of zones and channels that deactivate the regular props once the hider gets into really close proximity.
yeah true - i just quoted from someone bc I didn’t have the time to make my own at the moment
