Gimkit glitching

I’ll try this. Gimkit status is fine.

Doesn’t seem to matter.

Oh interesting, is this just a mac thing or? does having more tabs open make it worse cause its also more tabs to like reload type stuff

not correct, it matters, if you have a lot of open tabs then it really drains your CPU or in simple words your performance (if I’m not mistaken it’s the CPU and not the RAM)

It doesn’t seem to be a cpu problem as if works fine for a while before glitching and cpu is only at about 20% usage.

try restarting your mac or clearing your cookies, or better do both

so yes this is a device problamo my guy the key phrase there is

it generally isnt gimkit messing your computer up
but I can tell you some stuff about the maintenance required to possibly fix this
now do please note that I work with windows most of the time so I don’t have much experience with MacBook

but basic trouble shooting would be to start with your storage and cookies too much of that can overload a couple things if clearing up all your web cookies and some storage dosent work then It might be hardware of which case you need a professional repairman
of which I am not go ask your parents to take it to the repairman or something if it still persists after all that stuff

I think he has a school laptop, I mean I guess only a school can fix laptops…

okay, that’s not the point.

I think that after he deletes all the cookies, we can check if it works or not

wait hold the post said he already reset cookies
but idk if he just reset gimkit’s cookies or not
and I’ve never heard of a school using macbooks
but oki

Just gimkits cookies. should i reset all?

If you delete all your cookies, you probably will have to resign in into everything

So? as long as it fixes this guy’s issue

They do
(Bonus: they use something called Phaser js for the game in general) (look up “Phaser js” if you want to know more)
(I seriously doubt it is caused by an issue with Phaser, but you never know)

I did a little searching and it doesn’t look like a server, it looks like a game engine that looks suspiciously like unity…

maybe you said something wrong?
or I didn’t find what you told me..

Welp something you guys told me to do fixed the problem!
Thanks!

I would tell you it would be better to mark someone you consider the most useful (the most useful comment, hint, etc.) because you marked yourself, others might feel offended that they tried and you chose yourself (I am not talking about myself because I don’t really care how many solutions I have, the main thing for me is to help ¯_(ツ)_/¯ )
