So I was workin’ on my game, but then when I started the game, something WEIRD began to happen. It seems like someone tweaked my game. Props started dissapearing, abilities started to double up without a repeater or a trigger loop. I didn’t know what to do so I just shut down my chromebook and went to bed.
The next morning, things got even weirder. My game was back to normal, the bugs existed on the computer the previous night. I didn’t have any people living in my house other than me. which meant that this wasn’t done by a person I know. I first thought it would be an offline attack but then found it ridiculous for a hacker to hack a gimkit game. This happened again and again, which made my game unplayable.
I was wondering if someone had the same problem or it is just my low-quality computer.
it might be your computer or just gimkit bugging? (and yes I have had the same problem before) its a lets say WEIrD bug
anyways the gimkit team is STILL working n things so you might be able to email gimkit about this bug (this is a big bug that NEEDS to be fixed)
Yes, I’m aware that it is one of the options I can take. Though, I’ve put a lot of effort into making it so I’m unsure about abandoning 2 weeks of work.
Well, there has to be some experts on bugs in this forum right?
Your Chromebook’s quality shouldn’t be the problem (because I’ve run Fortnite with 60 FPS on one), unless it’s really old. How long have you had this Chromebook for? Is it a hand-me-down? Have you updated it recently?
Do you have many tabs open? That could be causing lag and messing with your game.
Then, under all of that, try clearing your cache. It rarely does anything, but it’s always an option.
There’s experts here, but there aren’t any glitch-sniffing experts.
I did doubted someone would go through all this trouble to hack a gimkit map. Well, My chromebook has been by my side for 4 years. and IT IS a hand-me-down.
I had no tabs open and even chrome lag reducer activated. Clearing my cache didn’t work, I still had the same problem. It made me wonder if this was a gimkti problem.
