I’m working on a game based off the FT13 Game, I actually never played it when it was out & I don’t really watch horror movies. I just love asymmetrical horror games. Basically, for now its called [CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE] : 1980. So far, I have a main menu & boat repair system done.
To do:
-Roles [Survivors + Slasher]
-Car & Phone Fix
-All Escapes
-Other gameplay elements such as vaulting & gadgets
I want to add some functions to make it stand out as more than just a FT13 game, what do you guys think I should do? I was also wondering should I do characters with their own perks/ abilities or equipable perks?

You can make each survivor and slasher have each unique ability.
You can add health regeneration and sprinting. For the survivors you can give them a item that helps them call a supply drop.
Tysm! Sprinting isn’t a bad idea, the only problem is that its sometimes annoying on PC to have to click a overlay instead of being able to just press a key on your keyboard.
For the day and night cycle both enemy’s and survivors will be on the map but during the night the enemy’s become stronger. Also, you can a radio with a quick chat and a flashlight item that reduces the darkness of night.
Maybe just make it nighttime the whole game.
