I am currently using the forums on my phone. Using a Safari feature, I was able to add the website as an app on my phone, but the desktop version is currently being displayed. I have not done anything that would cause that to happen.
To even post this topic I had to just go to the website (which works normally).
I should add that this bug only occurs when opening the app through a notification.
(iPhone notification, not Forum notification.)
I don’t know the cause of this, but I doubt they are going to resolve your issue anytime soon as not many people use safari, let alone use the forums as an app.
Wait a minute- I have an idea… what if you don’t open it through the notification 
Jk, but in all seriousness, there isn’t anything Team Gimkit can do. This is a formatting issue with Discourse. Post this on meta.discourse.org and they could help ya’ out.
Did you try flipping your screen? (what is mean is turning the phone sideways horizontally)
My screen was in portrait orientation mode the whole time, but I can try.
