So I was checking my notifications this morning and saw this.

The system sends notifications to all members of a group, like trustlevel 2, and moderators. The edit history shows a tl3 edited the post, whe a high level user makes edits, the forum system might sometimes reprocess all notifications for that post, including any group mentions
This is off topic, but I think if you flagged it and then it was edited you get pinged
Nevermind, I think I found the issue,
M_oop’s post was hidden after being flagged I think,
I think that since my post might have been next to it it channged my post number and pinged me instead.
