Lore:
You’re poor and you have a daughter
One day, you’re looking for a job, and your daughter points out something
It’s on the news paper
It States:
Looking for a Person
If you need money, and you’re poor, this is the job for you!
Every night on Friday, at 8 P.M. sharp, we will send you a location to go and security
You just have to look and guard at the security room from 8 P.M. to 6 A.M.
Up for the job? Call 038-486-2497
The Next Day
You call the owner of this so called “Security Checkup”
You dial the number, and after a few seconds you hear someone pick up
“Hello?” You ask
“Hello.” Says a gruff voice
“My name is (Guy who is poor name) I’m here to accept the job” You say
The person says, “Oh, we are no longer accepting this job, unless you are taking willing to take the risk.”
You: “Oh… you think for a moment and then ask, how much for 1 shift?”
Guy: “100 Dollars per shift”
You: “Could you make it 200?”
Guy: “Groans… Yes’”
Guy: “Your shift starts next week, at Volcanoes Trampoline Park”
You: Ok!
A Week Later
You are excited for this first shift
You meet the guy at the front door, and head into the security office
It looks like a normal room
The Guy who shows you around, and says farewell
You’re sitting in the office, and nothing’s happening 10 hours later
"Well that was an easy shift! You exclaim
The guy is waiting for you, and you collect your 200 dollars
5 Weeks Later
Life’s been great
You’ve earned 1000 dollars, and been happy with your daughter
You go to the shift area, surprised the guy isn’t there
Hmm… you wonder
You go into the building and find the security room
However, it isn’t like the other ones
You feel nervous and scared, until you hear heavy footsteps down the hall
You check the cameras and find a very horrifying monster
You immediately shut the door to prevent the monster from coming in
You realize this is not ordinary security, you have to survive
So basically, you should make it so that players can exit out of the security office
During day time (Make it about 5 min)
Is where security guards get ready
HOWEVER to recharge their electricity, they have to do a generator
During night, it alerts the anamotronics, but you can still do gens
Also, you can go outside the whole like building, and go to upgrades where players can buy, better battery, better cams, emergency tasers, and stuff like that.
i have an idea for making the room service unnecessarily complicated
The room service will have a seperate room with 3 bots each bot can have 3 states: activated, deactivated, and possesed.
activated
activated means that this bot is online and working room service works as normal but power drains faster
deactivated
deactivated means that this bot cant do anything. bots starts deactivated and must be manually deactivated, when bots are active they can be manually deactivated.
possessed
when bots are possessed room service works like normal 50% of the time, unless your in them same room as where your ordering then the possessed bot attacks you.
bots can only be possessed when they are deactivated at a small chance every hour. when a bot is possessed it will go back to normal the next hour.
Once you press play you are given a menu then once you start the game you have 1 minute to prepare and you are able to go around and fix gens that allow more max power and in the back of the room you have a power gen that can add 50 but its a 1 time use
An overlay system for the game! The one thing I need idea for is settings! In my game you are going to be able to customize your gameplay via settings in the menu screen (only for singleplayer)
I was going to suggest a museum map but I think this could still work as a room. This room would contain the history of the place like how it was founded and by who. It could also contain like old toys related to the place or other things. You could recycle these items and get “plastic” to make gadgets or other items.
Edit: Maybe there could be a special animatronic that stays there.
For the settings, I guess counters and properties and overlays and a lot of if if else blocks would do the trick. Would take up a lot of memory, though…
