I want a barrier that fades out but I do not wish to use animation as that seems like it would be too slow/sloppy. What I mean by fade is that instead of it instantly vanishing it will quickly fade away. I feel like I have seen it done before with text, but I have no idea if you can do it with barriers. Any ideas?
I’m pretty sure animation is the only way.
Also, do you mean “slowly?”
Sorry, that’s kinda confusing me.
I think the barrier does kinda fade when deactivated. If not, you could have maybe two more barriers underneath the first one, each more transparent than the last, and constantly have them disappear on channels so it looks like it’s fading.
Perhaps try to minimize the delay of the triggers (I normally use 0.08 in seconds for animations) and add more barriers to create better effects for the fading scene.
barrier alpha example:
first barrier: 1.00 alpha
second barrier: 0.95 alpha
third barrier: 0.90 alpha
and so on.
What I mean by slowly is that it feels like it wouldn’t fade as fast as I would like it to.
Wait you can delay triggers as low as 0.08? I thought the lowest delay was 0.5.
I thought the lowest delay for triggers was 0.1
you’re thinking of re***ers
but yeah the trigger delay can go low as 0.05 I think
Yeah, Trigger’s interval can go really low (I think you can do 0.000001 seconds and even lower)
wire repeater…it is 0.1 seconds as the minimum if I recall correctly.
