Oh, good idea! In months that don’t have an Event, the Event hosts can do a poll on an Event theme, like video games, birds, etc.

These random Events could/should be shorter than real Events based around the holidays, like Halloween or Christmas.

I mean, if we’re trying to think of event ideas, why not a weekly poll?
It would keep the community together, but I do see an issue.

It would probably create some mass off-topicness ^[1]. Just a suggestion, though.

Unfortunately, most events get a lot of hype and then get shut down for a long period, for all the hype to disappear. I wonder if the mod dashboard can disable flagging on certain posts. That would do wonders for events like these.

so is this event continuing into January?

This event does say “winter”, and it still is. The event in February will last until around valentines, then we’ll try to kick it off again until school ends (at least). We’ll see where it goes from there.

A back to school type of event? Packing up the decorations, preparing for school, snow’s still around, that type of thing.

That’s more in August when the school year starts.

This isn’t possible. To solve the closing issue, you all have to stop yourself from being off topic on here. This isn’t an issue Kat and I can fix. Do better.

Here is a quick summary:

Basically, in these forums, we aren’t really allowed to post our own works, so this event makes it possible. We are allowed to anything related to Gimkit and the theme, which this time, is winter!

You can draw a gim playing in the snow, make a game about winter, and post it here!
