Bad grammar alert (no offense) but here are some ideas.

  • Hiding numbers or clues for numbers and having a counter you can put them in
  • What @Gimkit_kid said about the timer
  • A locked book and you have to find a key for it (The book has an item or map that will help you)

You can make a game that, you ended up in the school during summer break and the janitor locked all the doors with you in it. You have to leave before you starve (similar to timer, but different theme)
