Question about Dynamic Block Dropping and Decaying

I have scoured the internet and the forums, but can’t find the answer to these questions: Why can I still drop dynamic blocks when I set in the game settings that you aren’t allowed to drop resource items? (I understand according to Google’s AI overview that dynamic blocks are resource items, correct me if otherwise) Why won’t dropped dynamic blocks decay in a zone where item decay is on? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

So basically what @Godatbedwars said earlier. Thanks for the help guys - I’ll just let this slip for now, as it isn’t a major distraction from the game or anything.

I just tested, and using the zone does work. I just wonder why does this happen? If you’re only able to disable the current three in the zone and it works, why not in the map options? I also checked, and it doesn’t allow me to drop it from my inventory unless the drop usable setting is set to yes. I think that the terrain is classified as a usable, and they just forgot to disable the button on the screen used to drop the terrain.
