Instead of respawning the player, instead use a team switcher device and set the team to switch to to the “Spectator” Team. This will permanently end the player.
Yeah, but how do I track d3ath after the certain point? I cant use a lifecycle since then they could be sent to spectator before that certain point
ok, let me experiment. I’ve made stuff like this before, and I think I’ve got it figured out ok.
Materials
1x teleporter
1x trigger
1x checkpoint
1x repspawn
First step
wire the trigger to the teleporter
Triggered—> teleport player
Put the teleporter in a box of some sort.
Put the checkpoint on top of the teleporter.
Second step
Wire the respawn to the teleporter
telported- respawn
This should keep them in a box. Let me know if it doesn’t work.
Every memory inefficient. And you’re just trapping the player in a box, not insta-kilIing them. As for a perma-death thing, you could make it so when the player respawns or dies, they get switched to spectator team aka “dying”
Or, you could do a wire repeater loop so they keep dying again and again.
Do you mean like permadeath as in username-ban, or just for the game session?

Oh all you gotta do is get a lifecycle device and put it on player knock(ed) out then get a team switcher and put it on team spectator. Then wire! Lifecycle
