DRUM-KITS IN GKC - LET’S MAKE 'EM.
Hey, I’m Blackjack. I like drums, and you should too (what a hook).
Alright, seriously, I’ve made a metronome, a beatboxing sentry, and other strange things in GKC, but I’ve ALWAYS wanted to make a drum set/kit. I love making music in GKC, so this would be a huge step for me and others with the same idea.
SOUNDS WE NEED TO CREATE
So, here are the cores of a basic drum set.
- KICK
- SNARE
- HITHAT
- RIDE
- CRASH
- TOM 1
- TOM 2
- TOM 3
If you don’t know how these sound, you can look it up. There isn’t much I can provide here, since I don’t have too much link flexibility due to school computer restrictions.
OUR GOAL: SUMMED UP
We want to make all of those sounds and make a way to where these sounds will activate when we need them too.
If you’ve ever been on a site like Onemotion where you can make beats with a drum template n stuff, that’s the kind of UI I want. If that isn’t possible, we can change it.
Actually, as someone who’s active-ish on onemotion nowadays, I would suggest being VERY careful on that site. People can be SUPER toxic, so I’d suggest not posting anything, and just tinkering with the sounds if you really want to. But to each their own.
