Welcome to the community @Cop!
You put a huge zone(s) that stretches all on the bottom of the ground.
Connect the zone with a Respawn device.
Player enters zone → respawn player
good option too
but…
OP said no laser…

I think they mean how to kill the players when they hit the laser.
do that ^^^ or if you want a laser then set the amount of damage to like 9999 or something greater than you shield and health combined.

Welcome to the forums cop! 
Try using a long zone and wire it up to damager
(Don’t forget to set how much to damage)
or just use kh’s or sillie’s idea

If the reason you don’t want to use a laser is because of the aesthetic, you could set it to black and hide the endpoints so it’s invisible to the player.
