Does team switcher respawn you, and how can I work around it?

The team switcher allows you to add and remove players from teams.
What do you mean by work around it?

So, whenever I use a team switcher, it respawns the player. I am doing king of the hill with Knockback mechanics. I want the king/queen to be on a different team, but I don’t want them to respawn

Yes it respawns you, no you can’t switch teams without respawning

If you want the players to be switched without them respawning…
I don’t think that’s possible.

Hm, I think I could put a team 2 spawn pad on the hill… so when they respawn they stay there until they leave
