Hello, I know I haven’t been on this for awhile but I’ve been working on my game that relies on the characters being deactivated. I know you can do it in the panel and I set active on game start to false except when I playtest the game the characters are not deactive whatsoever you can see them.
Either this is a bug or I’m just not doing this correctly
I would assume it means you just can’t interact with them until something is triggered. Is it connected to anything to make sure it can be triggered at some point?
I guess you could use a counter and once a specific time is reached it activates the npc?
also would you mind changing this to Help? o nvm i get what ur saying. you could block npc off with a prop at thats really the only way to do stuff
That can actually be useful if you don’t want the player to have access to it right away. You can reactivate it once the player has completed something or after a certain amount of time. Unlike the checkers’ “none” category, this can be useful.
It’s impossible to make characters disappear, it just doesn’t let you talk to them
Try using sentries that are on the same team as you, add buttons if characters are talking.
