Custom Reload Time

I have an idea on how to make a custom reload time, but I need help with regulating it. I think it might need some blocks, but I am very bad at using blocks, so I need help. So basically, I am putting the reload speed to instant, and making the gadgets need the required resource to reload, and I am going to make it so that a item granter will grant the resource needed at a set interval, so that there is a custom ADS or reload time. I need it to only reload after fired, or when equiped, one bullet in the gΩn no matter what. If i didn’t explain it well enough or you still don’t understand, or if you need more details, please say so. Can anyone help?

So, you need to have different reload times for each gadget?

And you made it so that a item granters will give the ammo at an interval so that they have to wait before using the gadget therefore creating a custom reload tim.

The thing is I need it to only grant when the gadget is equiped, otherwise it will just grant ammo forever.

Just to make sure you have the setting on that gadgets need ammo right?

Yes. I have it like that, but there is still the problem stated above.

Well you could use an inventory manager device. Have it only allow one ammo in the inventory at a time.

Taco you there? You can use the inventory manager and allow only one ammo in your inventory. Then just turn item drop off. This way when the player uses the ammo it replenishes, but will reload at the set interval you were doing.

No problem! There might be some faultiness on that, but it should work probably.

So should I have the item granter just keep granting or no? I don’t want the screen to be covered with popups saying “+1 heavy shard”

No, have a channel that stops the item granter for a time.

should I use blocks to send a message on a channel when fired?

Wait, do you have to have those pop-ups?

Yes, when a player fires the gadget make it send a channel that starts the granter up again.

Oh, and just to make sure you know that the lifecycle device can check for a gadget fired right? You probably know, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.
