Welp that’s another idea out the window…
ALRIGHTY
time to brainstorm again for…a…long…while
Well from my POV I thought TUG is literally just a BIG guide a guide so big it considered the ULTIMATE of the forums
But then think of those guides like Blackholes Block code guide That isn’t a TUG
its a guide purely just explaining block code
…wait that’s a problem.
but still, the resources tag gives almost every big guide and tug in one, so really, your idea isnt nessesary when there’s already more efficient alternatives.
A tug guide is one that basically holds all of the info on one specific genre/recreation. For example, it used to be things like tugted, tug to blocks, so on. But now it’s really just a mega wiki for any popular thing that might be recreated, like your Doors tug.
And yes, there are masses of awesome guides that aren’t tug, but those guides, like I said earlier, are typically bumped and to be fair most of them are written by some of the great authors of the forum (I don’t think I have to explain), like bh. And people are pretty familiar with these authors so they can just go to their profile and check out their best guides.
Tags can be set so that only mods can use them.
Tags are kind of like a power for people to just to describe topics but topics tags are just a tag that is just there kind of… there (you know) and ( tug guide are just a lost tag ( its like a 0.000001 percent chance now that a tug guide is a thing which you (which is crazy) Mods just label it and now it kind of… now really good topic) And the only tug idea ( now is The Guide to Doors) which is really cool ( now that helpful!

Summary
No Math was used in this post(idk if the 0.00001 things is real) Just made up! tug
Tags are used to describe a sort of theme to a post, so that if someone wants to see military art guides, they could simply use that tag to search for them.
bump because new users add the most random tags to their help topics (which you don’t even need tags for but ok)
bump
Added no-pictures and art-guide to the list
Ah yes, I have a question: do we still use the duplicate tag?
Just to alert TL4+ about which topics are a duplicate, and then the topic gets unlisted/deleted, therefore making it look like the tag isn’t used anymore (in a perfect world, the tag wouldn’t need to be used),
so in theory, I can technically still use it
Question: does anyone know what wiki is for? It has no description and only one guide, so I’m assuming it’s for wiki guides but I’m not sure why it’d be necessary unless you wanted to spam delete stuff.
Sh0ot I accidently created, sorry I will delete it
It’s an older tag that WAS for wiki guides. Pretty sure it’s useless now.
Removed #gimkit-formatting cause its unused, and reworded some sentences in the category section
Should the events tag be added as it’s going to be used more often now?
Maybe so can could possibly signify old topics we put old Tag? and it may be semi easier for people to not like uh randomly go to them and necro
how would that work? Will someone just go through every old post and add that tag? Necroposting on guides and devices is allowed (I think) and old help, art help, and bug topics could just be closed.
