Commentary Question

I was wondering if there was any way to create commentary like in Blastball

Yeah, you could simulate it with triggers and other event triggered devices that toggle an overlay or popup or dialogue or text device or what have you, but not exactly.

And with the activity feed too lol.

Use a ball capture zone, right, too?

you could use text (emojis to) and triggers with notifications

How would I wire it so that when a player does certain things different overlays appear

Depends on the thing, but just wire that to a notification and that sort of… also thing. For example, when a player gets a goal, you can wire that event to a notification. I’m confident if you wire a notification to a ball capture zone you could get that as an option.

What kind of events are you wanting?

You can either wire it with a wire or connect it via channels. Like when a button pressed transmit something to the pop-up. When a goal is scored transmit a channel to the pop-up and so on.

like what?

I am creating a game and I’m trying to make it when a goal is scored it goes like “GOOOOOAAAAAL [team name} !!!” also when a team has scored lots of goals or they are pushing the ball forward and things like that.

Like a real voice or notifications?

I was hoping for an actual voice, but im willing to accept alternatives

Because I don’t think that a live voice is possible.

oh ok well do you have other ideas

You could put several zones along where the player is running for when the ball is being pushed forward,

What do you have so far?

everything in a blastball game except commentary

Just have a notification device activate when a counter’s target is reached. For the multiple goals thing.

The problem with that is it’s always so glitchy when it’s constant notifications.

It’s only one time though. Like a notification stating how that team scored so many.

Maybe make the field a decently large size and space the notifications out? You can set the time the notification shows, to less.
