i have lost all sense of creativity, and face you fellow neanderthals in search of help.

if you couldn’t tell already, this is a help topic.

I have this uh, racing game. It’s a simple choose-a-map, customizable kinda deal. The thing is, I have everything technical done. but like uh, I need a good name and some theme ideas. Ranging from I don’t know, some dystopian bit to western, I don’t care.

so uh

  • name for the game (related to theme idc)
  • and a uh theme.

Oh also:
it’s a relatively realistic based game, but there’s a place in the lobby where I want to have cartoonish tracks other than realistic ones.

For now, I just need help with the name and actual game theme.

Ideas I like (AKA The List).

Here are a couple ideas:

  • A rainbow road style track, in spaaaaaaace.
  • A medieval castle.
  • A track in the sky on the clouds.
  • A track through each of the standard Gimkit top-down modes.
  • An underwater track.
  • A movie set.

Half of these are just stolen from Mario Kart.

IT WAS 1967

The great desert derby two very famous racers were in this derby one was your father the other his rival, the race started of with them neck and neck but just then your fathers car broke down and he lost the race, you knew that this was no accident and also new that your dads rival was one that was always up to no good so now you are going in a race against him and want to win.

this is like the basic racing movie plot so yea…

Name idea: Gim for Speed

I can’t tell if you meant to do that joke or not.

but the concept is fire, I like it. I’ll wait for other ideas from different users, but I’ll add this to the list.

There was a very tall mountain people wanted to race up and down and all around, but it was so dangerous people kept on falling off ledges and cars breaking down. But eventually, brave racers with their new advanced technologies conquered the mountain and made it a real racetrack!

It’s now like a mountain and a graveyard, so yeah that’s pretty much it. Doesn’t necessarily have to be spooky, but make it a tough track and snowy and stuff. Maybe add some bridges or something plenty of room to make it look cool.

A pie
You race through cream, under the plate, escape the disgusting fat cockroaches, and obviouly eat some pie at the end

  1. Abandoned research plant
  2. Desert wasteland (If you have a season ticket, which certain people don’t… Definitely not me lol-_-)

A race where half of it on land and half of it in water and if you’re in water and a u hit something you get propelled back or something like that idk

nah, just theme and name ideas. you can do what hth did and describe the track, but mainly just theme and name.

You should add ideas to this.

Blackjack asking for ideas. I don’t believe it.

You should make a track that is just full of traps, and its only purpose is to infuriate racers.
