I think the main idea could be these survivors d!ed and they are having to deal with the nightmares (the k!llers) of this h3ll!sh landscape

To be honest that does not really make sense, as a punishment for being bad they get to kiII other people..?
How ‘bout this? The survivors are the bad people and the nightmares are the collections of the feаr they have for the people they have wronged, and now its coming back at them
Now for the characters
Carnival clown: kiIIer
Ability one: aerialist: click an overlay to become the airborne state, in the state, you ignore props(just make them hide for you) and get 3x speed for 3 seconds, but you can’t attack for the time, medium cooldown
Ability two: frighten: click an overlay to shock in a 3 tile radius, halfening the speed of everyone in the radius, effect lasts for 3 seconds and has a long cooldown

you can try drawing apps like canva, or just ask what thumbnailists use
You could add color and the drawing would be clearer
