Can I create a device program so that my memory goes down?

My game keeps lagging. I think there are too much stuff in it.

Too much stuff shouldn’t be a problem, just spread things out. Gimkit lags when a lot of things are in one place yet may not lag at 99% memory as long as everything is spread out. Memory may have limits but doesn’t directly affect game performance. Additionally, you cannot create something that just brings memory down, however you can delete things to bring memory down.

Also, where is it lagging? Sometimes if there’s a lot of things going on at once it lags your gim to carry out the actions. For example: If you enter a zone and you lose your dynamic stone, a sentry activates, a trigger activates, a laser beam activates, a barrier deactivates, and ten props deactivate all at once it can overload the system, causing your gim to lag to complete everything.

It could be memory if there’s a lot of things and devices in one singular area. If you have complicated systems, then yeah, it would lag.

Or may commonly be known as ‘Internet Problems’

@Gaming-Phoenix Ah yes… the infamous internet problems (happens all the time :frowning:) Ok @blu3pr1nt, basically take the same steps as you would if your internet was lagging; check your internet connection, try rebooting the website and/ord device, and try to eliminate too many things going on at once in your game (assuming you can edit it and stuff)

Its like sometimes I just run around, and then part of the map breaks off, or I move way slower.

AAAAH MY EYES
(Meh I cannot say different)
But hey At least try sorting them into certain areas so you can access them easier
instead of them being all over your maps area, gets harder to navigate when creating

So.. Much.. Wires..

Ahem, I can see now why your game would lag, there’s so many things all in one area, with lots of wires. Try spreading things out and using Channels instead of wires.

There are too many things. Spread things out. Replace wires with channels. Replace repeaters with trigger loops.

Oh, ok. Btw, I’m supposed put wayyyy more wires. prob like 100000x more.

then it’s definitely going to be worth your while to use channels. after all, each wire is 5 memory so every 200 wires is 1% memory. in this way, with only wires in your map, you can only have 20,000 wires in your map. [1]

also, what are you trying to make in this section you showed us?

  1. sorry, got a little carried away ↩︎

You could try using big barriers to make the fog appear.
