hi I am new to create gimkit and I cannot find out how to get them to connect from one side to the other.

What do you mean connect from one side to another?
Use a wire, go to the add menu, and pick wires, then tap one button, and then tap what you want to connect it to.

from one portal to another like one button to the next kind of like when you enter a crystal and it brings you somewhere else. kind of like that I just don’t know how

Wire a vending machine to the teleporter. Use a vending machine and make it require a crystal to insert.

I think by crystal they mean teleporter.
For this, just open the teleporter settings, where it says “target group” put “teleport”, then make a new teleporter, make the group for this one “teleport”,
This makes it so you can go from one teleporter to the other but not back, if you want it to be 2 way then make the group and target group “teleport” for both teleporters.

If you want to connect something with wires click one thing and add it to the button and with channels come up with a name like channel and give the other thing the same name and it will work.

There is a checkmark box under every post, its near the bottom right of each post where you can also see the three dots, heart icon, and link icon.
Just go to the post that helped you the post and press the checkmark box
