Buggy tag zone damager

I’m using a tag zone to damage players but they are very buggy and rarely do damage. Is there a way to fix this?

can we see some pics of everything that’s hooked up to the zone?

the problem is it doesn’t do damage when it activates if I’m already near enough to someone else to get tagged

Would it fix it if it was always active and only did damage when I attack? (the lifecycle is gadget is fired)

wait is it hooked to a normal zone or tag zone, that could be your problem

sometimes lag is just the problem

normal zone I meant if I was already close enough to get tagged it wouldn’t do damage

hmmm might be a problem with the wires or just internet

when I attack it only does damage sometimes but if I increase the delay it would make it unrealistic

weird can I see the inside of the wired (like click the wires and let me see what they are hooked up to)

basically it when you attack it activates your team’s tag team and with a delay of 0.1 deactivates them and if you are tagged you get damaged
idk what’s wrong with it

wait is your tag zone suppose to be deactivate cuz that might be the problem

if it was always activated it would always do damage. It should work but I think they are deactivating before they do damage

maybe have a mechanic that activates then deactivates every so often

but then I would have a chance to not do damage, I want a way to always do damage

I’m pretty sure this is an external bug, but I have a few suggestions…

  • Try using channels as they use no memory
  • Make sure it is wired/hooked up correctly
  • Get better internet (Purely a skill issue, LOL)

If you have time and are willing, try using channels…
I may yet reduce the lag and make it work.
