Boss Drop Ideas Needed

I am making a new battle royale map and am adding bosses. I don’t want them to drop legendary gadgets because that’s kinda boring. I am also tired of adding medallions that give you power ups. Any other ideas?

Make a loot drop spawn where the boss is defeated, its location is visible to all players and can be claimed a minute after the boss is defeated.

Add a boss currency(use seeds or something) and let the players choose themselves what they wanna get

Okay, so if I’m reading this right, you want bosses to drop things other than gadgets and power-ups? If so, here’re some ideas:

  • Armour: Add some items that, when you pick them up, protect you against damage to some extent!

  • Health Items: Just what they sound like. Medkits or Shield Cans, usually.

  • Unlocking Items: These need a bit more explanation. Unlocking items help progress you forward on the map, like a special key to open up a door to the next area.

I’ll add some more stuff here if I think up anything good!

Also, quick tip: if you’re sizing up sentries for the main bosses, make sure the players can’t just stand inside of them to protect themselves from damage. Kinda defeats the purpose of the boss fight.

Instead of boss loot like gadgets or power-ups, bosses could drop consumable items like a “Phase Shift Potion” for invisibility.
