So for my horror game players need to do task to lower the timer BUT i want a better idea then tasks and puzzles i want an objective!
The ideas im looking for are not like “Clean papers” i want the players to be able to do more then that thx!

maybe an objective could be: finish a maze
is there a monster in this game if so make it to where they have to defeat the monster
Can you be a little more specific?
I just want to narrow it down a little.
The objective could be to “Beat the final boss of Gimkit”?
So for my game one player is a monster and the rest are runners and i dont want players to do just basic tasks i want players to be more active
maybe add a sanity meter that they have to manage

I HAVE AN IDEA.
There are certain devices, I’ll just call them wire breakers for now.
The monster can “break” them and the runners have to fix them.
For every wire breaker “broken”, visibility gets 10% darker & player speed decreases by 5%.
Heres another one,
Mysterious liquid.
When a player steps in the mysterious liquid, speed is cut by 15% and player location is revealed to the monster for 3-5 seconds via waypoint.
The waypoint will say something like, player stepped in mysterious liquid and will be on the liquid, not the player. (Cause I don’t know if that’s possible.)
I like this one but ill make it a heart rate instead of sanity
Why? So if the rate hit a high amount of BPM they will get K.O from heart attack
