Best item for points?

What is the best item to use to be tracked to count as points?

For example, if you get points for doing an action, the “points” are actually an item that is tracked and shown in the leaderboard. What is the best item to use in the scenario?

If we are talking about items in your inventory, i personally would say just about anything works.
But maybe using something that you wont use for any other purpose in your game (for example, dont use keycards to count points if you are using keycards for other uses. For clarity and stuff)

or maybe have it relate to how you get the points, or what the points represent.

I would say the best item for points is… Property (Number) which shows your score on a game overlay

Edit: I guess you can do it on a counter too. (A counter that updates the Property “score”)

I use blue seeds for no reason, I just like them

I would use either cash (a classic), gold keycards, or gold seeds (can look like coins). But honestly, a counter that has a property attached is the best.
