Barrier Controller

I think this is definitely possible.

I’m calling this a 3D printer because you are making something on command.

Could you make something like a text input that allows barriers to activate/deactivate to make the photo or something?

It doesn’t need to be text input but honestly, it would be cool if you could.

My question is, could you implement this to generate maps? Is this possible if we can make a prototype?

Number 1, this is kinda like, generic. Only post device topics if it is something NEW. Like a concept or smthing. This is just like saying: “I have idea! We could recreate ____! How will we do that?”
There is no point in this, and all it does is cause clutter. I recommend you take it down. If you want to do something like this:

Check this out

I mean, what are you even trying to do?
The devices section use to high end topics…

If this answers your question:
A custom system that can build based off of text entry commands is stated already in the above topic.

Maybe try testing it on your own before you make it a whole research topic.

EXACTLY!
When you make a research topic, please at least have an idea of how to do this.

:white_circle: here is what i’m thinking

1= (:black_circle: )
0= (:white_circle: )

we input it in is 1’s and 0’s like this:

0000000000000
0000111111000
0011000000110
0101001100101
0101001100101
0011000000110
0000111111000
0000000000000

Just to state my case, I am not trying to import photos. I am trying to make this mostly for generating maps

So a map generator?

this is confusing. please state what you are trying to do, and what it will do.

An input system is hardly related to any form of a 3D Printer in Gimkit. This topic title is misleading.

pretty sure that would require ai which none of us are smort enoof
too makee as foor as I knuuuw

and for a hot moment I thought you meant a literal 3d printer program in gimkit :skull:
full keyboard text entry commands we’re close to but not quite yet I would say
keybinds are all we can get rn just not a lot of em
so 3 keybinds we’ll have to settle for ig

Ok I renamed @InkyDarkBird

I see this I know how to some what but there is options to print and a random map generator barrier/props activating it can check witch things are active and seeing if (with a brain/ai) the barriers/props are activated in a valid place/playable game/way honestly just thearoys

wait could this be considered research if we agree on trying out stuff to test this?

I don’t even understand what OP needs help researching with. Making and somehow training an AI to magically place down new barriers and devices is impossible.

Yeah this got too heated.
I will be reverting all the edits made to the title back to original form.
Please only discuss about Gimkit Creative.
You can discuss tommorow.

Although it could be quite similar to another topic, the author may be trying to go for another approach to this problem.

So @GKCCreator49 explain to me, are you wanting me make an AI or smth or just like a randomiser that randomises the map but is a playable map

Yes. It could activate/deactivate like barriers and props or something

Yes, does not answer my question I asked either which

AI or Randomiser?

Both technically
