Arena and "Lobby" Additions

I’m making a pokemon style game and ran into a roadblock with blocks, so I decided to work on aesthetics. How can I make the arena and lobby better in these two photos?

you can add some plant, flowers, trees, grass, etc

Maybe add some more props? Like water, and some pokeballs?

It’s too dull. Add some varying terrain.
