Are you permitted to copy peoples thumbnails?

I was scrolling along Gimkit creative when I saw this!:

But the real question, is it permitted to copy peoples thumbnails?
That thumbnail looks like it what screenshotted and put into the thumbnail. If this isn’t permitted I will send an email to hello gimkit , you don’t have to ask.

This has already happened before, and the answer came to be:

NO! DON’T COPY THUMBNAILS WITHOUT PERMISSION!!!

However, what are we to do? That’s why you make it hard to crop the watermark.

but I saw a thumbnail request about this and I think it was just screenshotted badly? IDK but OF COURSE IT ISN’T ALLOWED!

But what if it was the person who made the original game?
