i think the lore should be that they used to play the tapes for the little kids there back in the 80’s but many kids have gone missing causing them to close the playhouse and one of the missing kids was your brother so you go back to see if you can find him (I’m just making this up as I go)

I have so many ideas for lore. Here’s an idea. The school recorded a series of tapes to showcase their school off to parents as a sort of “get to know us.” But the tapes became increasingly disturbing, eventually the player figures out halfway through the tapes, that they were not recorded by the school, but by the mascot “Willow the Walrus.” Then, when they get to the climax, the player prices together that this wasn’t a real school at all. It was a “have to respawn”-house.

How about:
you are a detective, trying to investigate a school that got shut down a few months ago because a dead body was found in the school. the school is trying to use a new way to make learning fun (that may or may not be dangerous)

can i be in it? maybe a character named mira and for the game lore maybe involved with the football team related one by @King_Thunder_Alt1 after everyone left the school was shutdown but for some reason there were lights on in the school but nobody was in the school. Who or What was in the school? we may not know but we do know something……Whatever it is may not be friendly it may be a friend or foe but we know that it won’t be long before it harms someone. (Ta da! some lore i made in my mind in 5 mins’ @Mapist

Maybe virtual reality experiences in history class to help students see how historical events would play out, but the simulations messed with the brain, making pain and d3ath in the simulation real to the user, and this k1lled several kids.

Oh yeah, speaking of charecters, could I be a Shadeborn Gim who designed the virtual reality knowing it was flawed, but not caring because
