Advanced save code?

So if anyone here has ran a cracked Minecraft server before, then you probably know what a no_(insert bad word that starts with a b)_filter plugin is.

For anyone who doesn't know

a no_(insert bad word that starts with a b)_filter makes it so that anyone who logs in must make a password for their username. Then, if another player joins with the same username, it asks them for the password to their username.

I want to implement a feature like this into my map for a more advanced save code system, but I need some help on how to make it.

Any ideas?

What do you mean by that? The code to make a plugin or the gam3 cod3?

Uhh, maybe encode a password from the players name, and then encode that into the save code?

I just want a system to mark the players name and password, and then if someone joins with the same name, ask them for the password to that name

Wait..
Are you saying that you made a system that can record data from play?
Since you said you want anyone that joined a same username as someone before would need a password, does that not mean you would at least need to record the username?
I would assume you didn’t, but I got confused, please explain to me

I don’t think the this specific system is possible yet because we don’t have cloud variables.

Sadly no…

That’s what Im aiming for here. If I did have a sys like that, I’d probably just close this topic myself.

cloud variable josho pretty pls.
There must be some possible method though. Hate to be the one who says it, but blackhole wasn’t wrong. It’s just not possible yet

Just went through all devices
Unless there is a bug, there is no method for a non-creator-player play through to cause a change in set up of devices or values of properties in game
It would be possible if you made people record data on a separate server and manually updated properties every time the server gets updated
But i don’t think anyone would do that, and there are still lots of problems with it
So no

Honestly.

You’re probably right.

I’ma just mark a solution for now and maybe come back to this topic a century later to see if the cloud variables ever come :P
